Anna Silk

Anna Silk, born January 31st 1974 in Fredericton Brunswick Canada, is a Canadian actress most well-known for her role as Bo on the Showcase series Lost Girl. Silk was made at Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay is the producer and director of drama of drama and production at St. Thomas University, is Silk's mom. Silk's father Peter, was an academic. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna is able to recall the earliest moments of her childhood, like taking part in rehearsals of stage plays. Silk was a small actress in commercials. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Arts at St. Thomas University in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas was engaged in two of the early stage productions, including Seven Menus (1997) and The Kitchen (1999). Silk relocated to Toronto Canada in the fall of 1999 to continue her acting. After that, she relocated in Los Angeles California during the next decade. Silk met her husband, Seth Cooperman, at an Actor's workshop located in Los Angeles in 2007. When she got engaged in 2008, they got married in 2009. In April of 2011, they renewed their vows at a Jewish celebration in Fredericton after she converted to Judaism. Silk was blessed with a son named Samuel Jerome Cooperman in May 2013. Levi Aaron, her second baby was born on the 13th of May, 2016. Silk has played a range of roles on television, among them Cassidy Holland from Being Erica. The actress was nominated to win a Gemini Award in 2009 to play this character. Silk was cast in the lead role as Bo Dennis, a succubus and a succubus as Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Silk told fans of the show the joyous announcement that she became pregnant on the set of season 3 during an exclusive pre-show for Season Three. This was shown by Showcase in a special Season Three show held January 6th, 2013 prior to the series' premiere. Silk posted on Twitter on June 20, 2013 that production had begun on Season 4. The 4th of June, 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures confirmed the beginning of production for Season 4, which will air in the fourth season. CNN recognized Bo's performance with Lauren (Zoie Palermo) in Lost Girl one of the most talked about TV couples of all time. E! voted it the top couple on TV of 2013. Entertainment Television. Silk has a huge social media following, including Facebook and Twitter, as a direct consequence of its popularity.
