Anika Noni, an American performer and singer. The most famous role she has played is Tiana The first Disney African American princess. Disney named her a legend in the year 2011. Rose is well known for her part as Lorrell, Robinson in Dreamgirls. Anika Noni Rose (born on the 6th of September 1973) is an American actress and a singer. She is best known for portraying Tiana the first Disney African-American princess as she appeared in The Princess and the Frog (2009). Disney Legends named her one in 2011. The actress is also known for her performances as Lorrell in Dreamgirls, which was an Academy Award winning film (2006) and LaVerne in Starz's Power. In addition to her acting, she is famous for the roles she performed in theater.
